SustainaBellingen Showcase Cancelled Due to Weather
Due to ongoing heavy rain and widespread flooding affecting the entire Mid North Coast region, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the SustainaBellingen Showcase that was scheduled to take place at the Memorial Hall this weekend. With many road closures preventing safe travel, several of our featured presenters are unable to reach Bellingen, and we recognise that many community members would also face difficulties attending the event.
The safety of our community, presenters, and volunteers is our top priority. We apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment this cancellation may cause. We remain committed to our sustainability initiatives and will announce future opportunities to engage with these important topics once conditions improve. Thank you for your understanding during these challenging weather conditions, and please stay safe.
The Bellinger River Agricultural Society regretfully announces the cancellation of the 2025 Bellingen Show due to unsafe ground conditions at the Showground.
Following extensive rainfall and with more predicted, the Showground has become extremely waterlogged, creating hazardous conditions that would put our volunteers, exhibitors, animals, and visitors at risk.
This difficult decision prioritises safety above all else. We understand the disappointment this causes and share in that sentiment.
All ticket purchasers will receive automatic refunds. The EJ Mantova Art Prize exhibition at Bellingen Gallery & Framing Studio continues as planned. We'll contact sponsors, vendors, and competitors directly in the coming days.
We sincerely thank our community, sponsors, and volunteers for their understanding and support. We're already looking forward to a spectacular comeback in 2026.

What is the Bellingen Show?
Since 1881, the Bellingen Show has been the heartbeat of our community. Every May, our historic Showground comes alive with a vibrant celebration of rural life, local talent, and community spirit. From championship cattle to creative crafts, from woodchopping to wonderful local entertainment, the Show offers an authentic country experience with a uniquely Bellingen flavor.

Everyone! We've created a family-friendly event that spans generations and interests - with animals galore for the kids, exciting attractions and stalls for teens to browse, and excellent food and refreshments for grown ups! The vibrant atmosphere is filled with music, food stalls, competitions and exhibitions, transforming the Bellingen Showground into a lively hub of fun and entertainment for all.
In 2025, we're especially excited to offer free entry for all school children!
