With Bellingen’s agricultural roots founded in timber, it should come as no surprise that the woodchop competition is a firm favourite at the Bellingen Show with the Saturday crowds revelling in the strength, accuracy and speed of the axemen in the competition.

This event lures axemen from across the region
This Saturday-only action is a short sharp 10 class competition and usually features standing block, underhand, 2 man relay, tree felling, double handed sawing, and veterans and junior classes.
All the action starts at 10am on Show Saturday in the Special Events Arena.
