All ages are welcome to create a scarecrow (even though they are in the children’s section of the Pavilion Schedule.

Create a whimsical scarecrow to add character to our showground throughout the Bellingen Show weekend. Whether you're crafting a traditional farmyard guardian or something completely unique, we want to see your creativity shine.

Create your masterpiece at home using any materials that spark your imagination. 

Your scarecrow should stand no taller than 170cm and come attached to a sturdy stake (wood or metal) for secure display. 

First Prize will take home $50, with $25 for the runner-up

Best Dressed, Most Creative will also win a prize!

Entry is open to everyone - families, individuals, schools, and community groups.

• OR bring your Entry Form to the Entries Hub from Monday 04 May to Wednesday 06 May – 9:00am to 4:00pm.

• Closing Date for Entries: 4pm, Wednesday May 6

• Delivery Day is Thursday 07 May between 4 - 6:00pm for Friday's judging.

The real reward? Seeing your creation become part of the Show atmosphere, delighting visitors and creating perfect photo opportunities throughout the weekend.
