Message from the Society President

It is great news that the Committee of the Bellinger River Agricultural Society have decided to run the 2021 Show.

Each section of the show was critically examined to ensure we could meet COVID guidelines.

One of the new initiatives will be to promote online ticketing for fast access to the showground. The NSW QR code will also be in operation.

Our volunteer base will be a major focus for us as without all those wonderful people who help in so many areas of the show we will not be able to stage this important community event.

We will soon be putting the call out for assistance in many areas so if you are available to help over the show weekend email our volunteer coordinator at and you can be added to our list.

We use sign-up sheets so volunteers can choose the areas and times that suit them.

Our new facebook page is up and running: TheBellingenShow.
Please like it and help spread the word about the 2021 Show.

After the gloom of 2020 we are all excited to be staging on our wonderful Bellingen Show again this year.

2021 Bellingen Show to go ahead!

The Bellinger River Agricultural Society has made the decision to go ahead with the 2021 Bellingen Show.

The Show will be held on the weekend of the 8th & 9th May but there will be significant changes to the organisation and running of the show in 2021.

These changes are to ensure that the show meets current COVID-19 restrictions imposed by the NSW Department of Health and that the show environment is safe for our patrons.

The Society has also made the decision that in the event of cases of community transfer of COVID occurring in either our health area or an adjacent health area in the lead up to the show, this decision will be reviewed.

The Show Society is currently developing a COVID Safety Plan and this plan will provide the framework for the changes that must be put in place if the show is to go ahead.

These changes will include a move to provide online ticketing for entry to the show and online entering for some competitors and exhibitors.
