2021 Bellingen Show: COVID-19 Restrictions & Planning

The Bellinger River Agricultural Society had made the decision to go ahead with the 2021 Bellingen Show.

The Show will be held on the weekend of the 8th & 9th May but there will be significant changes to the organisation and running of the show in 2021. These changes are to ensure that the show meets current COVID restrictions imposed by NSW Health and that the show environment is safe for all our patrons.

The Society has also made the decision that in the event of cases of community transfer of COVID occurring in either our local health district or an adjacent health district in the lead up to the show, this decision will be reviewed.

The Show Society is currently developing a COVID Safety Plan and this plan will provide the framework for the changes that must be put in place if the show is to go ahead. These changes will include a move to online ticketing for entry to the show and online entering for some competitors and exhibitors.

More information on these changes will be announced when details have been finalised.

All competitors and show patrons are required to comply with NSW Health requirements with respect to COVID. This includes practicing social distancing, sanitizing and having patience as procedures are adapted.

Planning for the 2021 Bellingen Show is being carried out under current COVID restrictions.

Please be aware that any changes to COVID restrictions imposed by NSW Health at the time of the show may make staging the show more difficult or not practical and could lead to the cancelling of the show at short notice. As COVID requirements are constantly changing, you can keep up-to-date with how these are affecting your show by checking our website or Facebook page.
