Cooking Demonstrations 2022

Following the success of last year’s event, we’re delighted to present the return of the Luncheon Pavillion Cooking Demonstrations. This year we have a full weekend of cooking demonstrations with renowned chefs Lyndey Milan and Mitch Grady. The icing on the cake – your chance to win a seat at the exclusive Chef’s Table Lunch on Sunday afternoon. 

Popular local chef and food business owner, Mitch Grady, will kick-off the cooking demonstration line-up on Saturday at 10am. Last year we saw Mitch wowing kids and adults alike with his delicious recipes and engaging presentations.

Celebrity chef, Lyndey Milan, who proudly declares herself as a “Show Tragic” and known to many as the “Australian home cook hero” will be heading to Bellingen this year to do what she loves most, cooking with local produce. Lyndey will be showcasing local and seasonal produce whilst demonstrating how to create simple and delicious meals.

Lyndey has been instrumental in changing the way Australians think about food and wine boasting over 30 years in the industry via nine cooking shows, nine best-selling cookbooks and influence as former Food Director of the iconic Australian Women’s Weekly. She is Vice President of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW and a great supporter of regional Australia. Lyndey always seeks out the regions and is known for saying ‘if we don’t have farmers and producers growing and making things, I don’t have a job’

“What makes a place unique is the people who live there and what they do with it – the community attitudes, community pride, and what they do with their produce.” Lyndey said.

Her love affair with all things food and wine has remained a constant source of inspiration during her 30-year career. She is an award-winning multi-media presenter, MC, speaker, food and wine teacher, judge and regional Australian specialist who makes numerous TV and culinary appearances

Tickets are on sale from Saturday 14 May up until 3pm Saturday 21 May. Winner will be drawn on Saturday afternoon and announced around 3.15pm, the winner must be there to collect their prize.
